Previous Council 2012-2014
The Council
The initiator of the birth of RENPER was Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Che Omar from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. This idea was then conveyed with colleagues at various university friends at various meetings, including during the visit of the Chancellor of the University of Bengkulu to Universiti Malaysia Kelantan in 2010. The launching of RENPER and its inauguration was initiated and led by Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. Therefore, at the beginning of its development, initiatives for network management were carried out by Universiti Malaysia Kelantan led by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Che Omar.
In its development, together with the implementation of the 3rd RENPER International Seminar at the University of Bengkulu, Bengkulu, Indonesia, in 2012, the first Council Meeting was held. In the meeting attended by representatives from various member universities, two things were agreed upon. First, the meeting agreed to have the RENPER Statute which will be used as a guideline for network management. Secondly, it is necessary to establish a council which will then be tasked with managing the network for a two-year period. This council meets periodically at least once a year.
